It was outstanding!  Our OPA! Greek themed Feast in the Forest Saturday September 9th from 4-8PM in Indian Village in Pebble Beach. 

Your CRA Board welcomed one and all as Chef Tim Wood, of Woody's at the Airport & Woody's at Del Mesa, takes us to Greece for an amazing meal experience. This meal is embelished with donations of harvested and created bounties throughout our region with vegatables from Swank Farms, olives from Musco Olives, Alvarado Street Beers and thoughtfully paired Folktale Wines!         

Logistics/Reminders

    • When & Where – We gathered between 4:00 and 8:00 PM Saturday September 9th at Indian Village on The Dunes Road in Pebble Beach.
      Directions are best found by entering "Indian Village" (the park and NOT the Indian Village road) into your mobile map or the "Gingerbread House" that is also on Dunes Road.  The Dunes Road is between Seal and Bird Rock off of 17 Mile Drive.
      Parking is readily available - but please nose-in park close to each other, so we can all fit. 
      17 Mile Gate Entry  At any of the Pebble Beach gates, tell the guard you are attending the "Carmel Residents Association (CRA) event in Indian Village" that waives the visitor fee.
    • Attire –  Of course is casual, plus we recommend bringing an added layer of warmth as the sun sets. Toga's are optional!
    • Plus - the benches at Indian Village are firm - so if you have cushions handy, bring them.

Everybody participates in our great Raffle! 

1 ticket per attendee was provided to all at the welcome/registration as you check in on Saturday.  Drop half of your raffle ticket into the Raffle item container at the Raffle Desk for our drawing.

Plus you could also purchase additional raffle tickets in support of Carmel Residents Association programs - while enjoying the great products and services throughout Carmel!  Additional tickets were available for $10 each, or 5 for $40. Cash is always welcome or we can invoice you to pay by credit card or check in follow-up to our event.

This Feast in the Forest is a worthy classic delivering an elegant evening of sights, sounds, food, and libations.  Let your imagination & reservation take you there…
Created by the award-winning chef and owner of Woody's at the Airport, Tim Wood our menu...
  • begins with small bites (Meze) of olives, feta cheese chunks with locally grown red onion, cucumber and heirloom tomatoes, Hummus dip, Pita bread wedges, stuffed grape leaves
  • offers main course options of lamb souvlaki with tzatziki or meatless moussaka
  • and wraps up with Baklava, the most classic and recognizable classic honey and nut Greek treat
Reservations – CRA Members* register to attend, with your welcome guest(s) of 1, 2 or 3+, with your $50 per person payment online. You’ll receive a personalized email in the early days of June or can contact Nancy at (650-740-3477) who can take your reservations live. Your guests can be members or non-members. The last day for  reservations was August 24. We sell out every year!
