It's a Western themed Sunday late afternoon gathering for y'all, this year. We're lookin' to round you all up to join us at the Indian Village at Pebble Beach for the CRA Annual Feast in the Forest - for some great BBQ grub and beverages and the best darn folks on the planet! Dust off your Cowboy hats, boots, shirts with pearl button and fringes, and a bandana and head up the trails, just a bit north of our Village, for a great time had by all! And just like 2023, we again will have a Raffle of great items donated from local businesses.
At this year's Feast in the Forest - we'll again enjoy the great foods by Chef Tim Wood, of Woody's at the Airport & Woody's at Del Mesa. This event's grub will bring some great BBQ items, corn bread, salads, fruits, veggies and a fitting desert to delight us all. Our great meal will be embellished with donations of harvested and created bounties throughout our region with vegetables from Swank Farms and thoughtfully paired beverages including Folktale Wines.

Plus - hot off the press - "The Edge" live local western band will add to the ambiance and some toe tappin' fun at this great CRA Feast in the Forest event.

More Housing in our Village? - a Community Meeting "Exploring Affordable Housing" was held August 21st with great attendance with lots of great feedback and questions. Thanks to all who joined in! The slides, videos and more can be found on our Housing webpage HERE. Challenges continue as does the collaboration of the City and grass roots AHA citizens teams - in our efforts to replace the City-owned sites from our Housing Element. Next steps include updates delivered at both the September and October City Council meetings - but watch for more meeting opportunities too.
